第 64 屆 葛萊美獎 入圍名單於 11 月 2 日公佈。喬恩·巴蒂斯特 Jon Batiste 以 11 項提名領先；小賈斯汀 Justin Bieber、蜜桃貓朵佳 Doja Cat 和 H.E.R. 緊隨其後，各獲得 8 項提名；怪奇比莉 Billie Eilish 和 奧莉維亞 Olivia Rodrigo 則各有七項提名。至於去年首次入圍葛萊美獎的 BTS 則於本屆再次入圍。
葛萊美獎的主辦方美國錄音學院（Recording Academy）今年四月下旬宣布取消自 1989 年以來一直實行的匿名投票，並增加「最佳全球音樂表演獎」與「最佳 Música Urbana 專輯」，第 64 屆葛萊美獎即是修正提名程序後的首次頒獎典禮。本次參與作品為 2020 年 9 月 1 日至 2021 年 9 月 30 日期間發行，頒獎典禮將於 2022 年 1 月 31 日在洛杉磯舉行。
